Welcome to BikeMaine and experience Vacationland in an entirely new way!

BikeMaine is a fully-supported, seven day cycling tour held in mid-September, the prime time to cycle in New England.  The days are still warm, the nights are comfortably cool, and a hint of fall color is just beginning to appear on the trees.

Cyclists pedal 50-60 miles per day along moderately challenging terrain on uncrowded, safe and quiet roadways, through small towns rich in local culture.  Take in an impressive range of scenery, from Maine’s rocky coastline, dotted with lighthouses and lobster boats, to pristine mountains and lakes. Enjoy locally-sourced foods like Maine seafood and fresh-from-the-farm produce at every meal.

BikeMaine 2015 takes place September 12-19 and is limited to 350 riders. The 2015 route will be announced during the Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s Kick Off Party on February 4th, from 4:30-8 p.m. at the Empire in Portland.
