One-Day Ride for BikeMaine Supporters

BikeMaine thanks you and your employer for being a valued supporter of BikeMaine 2017. In appreciation for this support, BikeMaine has reserved a limited number of spots for our sponsors and partners to join us in riding the first day of BikeMaine 2017, beginning in the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Riders may start riding the route that morning at any time between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. The fully supported route is 57.2 miles in length, with a morning rest stop on route and a lunch stop put on by the Unity Barn Raisers in Unity. For those who prefer a shorter ride, you can elect to end the riding day at the morning rest stop in Clinton (mile  21) or at the lunch stop (mile 40) and take advantage of our SAG (Support And Gear) wagon to the destination in Pittsfield.
unnamedWhen you arrive in Pittsfield, feel free to explore the town and take advantage of the many activities being offered in the community and in the BikeMaine Village, located in the beautiful 45-acre Manson Park. If you want to bring a bath towel and a change of clothes (BikeMaine will transport them for you), you can shower in the BikeMaine Village. Enjoy a complimentary beverage in our Beer and Wine Garden and rehash the day’s route with fellow riders before catching the 4:00 shuttle back to Skowhegan.
Please complete all sections of this form and submit by Friday, August 11th, to reserve your spot for riding Day 1 of BikeMaine 2017. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver and provide emergency contact information.
For those wanting to stay overnight in Skowhegan before doing the Day 1 ride, you are invited to camp with us in the fairgrounds or make arrangements to stay in one of the local motels.  We would love to have you join us for a lobster dinner on Saturday night as we welcome our 2017 riders and volunteers. You may register to join us for overnight, or just for dinner, on the form below.
If you have any questions, please contact Zach Schmesser at 623-4511 or by email at
